Grade 9 Orientation Day:

All grade 9 students are invited to attend Holy Trinity's grade 9 orientation day on Thursday, September 1, 2011, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. (Uniform not required on this day). Timetables will be given to the grade 9 students which will enable them to walk around and become more familiar with our school. Grade 9 students will, as well, be invited to enjoy a BBQ lunch at 11:00 and meet new friends.

Football Tryouts:

Also, many students have expressed interest in trying out for the junior football team. This is a great way for students to get involved and meet others at the beginning of the year. The first week of football tryouts will run from:

• Monday, August 29th, 2011 - 10:00am - 11:30am
• Tuesday, August 30th, 2011 - 10:00am - 11:30am
• Wednesday, August 31st, 2011 - 10:00am - 11:30am
• Thursday, September 1st, 2011 - 2:30pm - 4:00pm
• Friday, September 2nd, 2011 - 10:00am - 11:30am.

Students can arrive with shorts and any type of running shoes or cleats on the first day.  No prior football experience is necessary.  Students who play hockey can work out schedules with their football coach to support playing both sports.

Uniform Required for First Day of School:

Students must be in complete uniform on the first day of high school. Information in regards to uniform can be found at the uniform providers, McCarthy's.
